For those that support the currently incarcerated, this is a must read.

This line has been drawn in California.......or has it?
"The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and Facebook Security will cooperate to detect and remove prohibited inmate accounts. Facebook agrees to remove accounts managed by or on behalf of state inmates."

Group Dialog between friends.........
Friend 1:  Personal access to FB is the point, isn't it? As long as the inmate isn't logging on himself (using illegal cellphones? computers?), what does it matter whether there is a FB page in his name?

Friend 2:  Apparently for just as many advocates to help the cause, there are many who oppose it citing that it is violation of FB TOUs. Seems that something has to give whether one way or the other.

Friend 3:  You know what's sad about this whole thing.....is that there are guys on here that are using this as a platform to be able to connect with others who can help their cause. Many guys inside prison who are the eyes and ears of being able to let the public know what the government would rather keep in secret regarding how they are treated, abused, and maybe even neglected especially those who have medical conditions that have to fight through an administrative process to be able to get the medical help they need.  Just because they are in prison doesn't mean they are forgotten.  We will always be creative to be able to let the public know how these institutions are treating these guys......prisoners or not, America is not a 3rd world country to treat their prisoners inhumanely.......
